it will probly take you a few batches, but after a while you should be able to come up with some good brew....dont get too discouraged after your first attempt, mine pretty much sucked but we drank it anyway.

yeah, that is basically what i am talking about....i meant socket, not rachet. as for making the cap you dont need a drill, heat it up with a lighter and when it starts to get soft you can push the socket right through it....the cap will then cool and harden around it, making for a good seal...

a good bowl for a gravity is a small ratchet attatchment (3/8" maybe).....push it through the bottle cap and your good to go

unfortunately i think its a lose/lose decision....personally i'd always go bush over stowe though if that helps
