I can get regular PX12's for 100 or for an extra 20 get the Ti's. These will be for my pow skis. I was just wondering if it is worth it to spend the extra money to save a little weight.

For those of you who have gone to Europe to ski, is it worth going there over going out west in the U.S./Canada? What would be a ballpark price range for 4 or so days of skiing in the Alps? Cheapest accommodations and whatnot.

I have a pair of some Salomon Z12s laying around and until I get money for good pow ski bindings I was gonna toss them on my 122 waist pow skis. The brakes are only like 80 or 90mm so I was gonna buy some 115mm (the widest salomon makes) brakes. I called the shop to see if they could mount...

Anything over 115. Need these for 120mm pow skis. Salomon brakes are the non-sth ones. Not looking to spend over $100 on bindings but I don't care how shitty they are. I'll take ten year old bindings that have been beat to hell and back as long as they work.

Just curious because I was on shitty rentals until I got park skis, so I've never rode them. I'd be down to give racing skis (not racing mind you) a shot to see what they're like. Are they noticeably faster? How do they feel handling wise compared to a park ski?
