The new Scratch BC was re-designed apparently, fatter, stiffer and lighter... how that works is beond be but they have been getting great reviews.

Don't dis man, not everyone is as fotunate as you. He lives in CO, they get what, two maybe three days tops for good skiing. Don't bug him man because he says he's going to move to PA so he can get some real skiing done.

The '06 Scratch BC is a ski I'm looking into too. What size do you guys think would be good. No park with these skis, only big mtn, hard pack, tight trees and crud (I ski in the BC Interior). They come in a 172 and 178, I'm thinking a 178 but it might be long in the trees.

I don't want to say but the 185 ARV might be a good fit. Don't buy them though because I want to be the only guy at Red with Armadas. So if you do buy them just stay at wh20 :P
