I just made my first print in photo, and it actually turned out pretty cool. I think I'll be spending a few more hours down there this weekend making a couple more prints and preparing for the next lab, and I am actually really looking forward to it.

If you get into competing you will learn edging, balance, and air sense on a level that would be hard to achieve outside of mogul skiing. Same goes for racing, but I spent 4 years doing bumps so I'm biased!

You should be able to find a pair of the scrach moguls for cheap if you look around, those are pretty sweet bump skis. And skiing moguls will flat out make you better at everything.

Definitely France! Going abroad is way more of an opportunity than skiing for a couple weeks, although it would be pretty fun. That, and Utah is the antithesis of culture.

A level 1 course is just going to cover really basic stuff. Where you're going to see slides, what causes instability, how not to be a moron, etc. It will be mostly classroom, and they should take you out one day to dig pits and find trancievers. You will not know enough to go out after it...

Just finished some super shitty paper for an arch history class. The professor told us to write about what we thought architecture was (I think) and gave off a strong impression that if he disagreed, things wouldn't be good. But he also gave us the option of discussing various viewpoints and...

They're soft, light, and have a running length that is noticably shorter than my 189 Pistols--which have a similar running length to my 186 LP's. It's not a big ski at all.

Lens choice will make a bigger difference than the body you're using, FYI.

I like the colors and exposure on them, but the composition doesn't excite me at all. Try moving the subject out of the direct center and your photos will become more interesting.

I wanted to get all 12 months this year, but I missed August.....and January, haha. Maybe this season I can pull it off.

Mine make me look real purdy. Gauging starts in t-minus two days.
