agreed, i have the 1080s from 03/04 and i love them, never had any problems and they are holding up well if you havent rode salomon skis and hate them, go try a pair, you will probably change ur mind afterward about hating the skis

the nines are actually warm, the tune ups help even more

iv heard backs are easier than 3s, true? and i can do fronts on a tramp, no backs though, i want to try a front on skis but i dont know how much the skis will slow my rotation?

iv got 1080s and i think the thrusters are the same, super fun ski, durable, ur a lighter rider so they should hold up pretty well, im on my second season with my 1080s and im like 130ish

iv heard volkls are durable, but my salomons have been durable for me, even my 912 bindings, just the paint chips on them easy

i have some, no problems, im currently on my second yr with them, but if ur an agressive skier u should maybe get the 914s

last winter a ski patroler was giving some kid a talk about how to properly get on a lift, about 2 min later that patroller gets on the lift, catches his tips on a chunck of ice and fell face first off the lift

they work great, sound quality is good, they keep ur ears warm-always a bonus and the mute button is nice, i just keeping pushing in the area of where it is on my jacket until i hit it, but its hard to feel with gloves on
