screw line, armada and all other noodles. have movement in your shop, the best ski in the industry. they don't break, the edges don't crack, they have a crap load of life in them and as an added bonus, they don't suck outside of the park.
yeah justin, not josh, my bad justin. what a fun comp.
and as for max not winning anything. that was total bullshit. his tricks at the big air were waay bigger and smoother than anyone else!
does anyone have pictures of triple challenge 2007? i'm talking about rail jam, half-pipe, big air, slopestyle, anything.
in particular pics of me, or anypics i could use to do a park update for blue.
andy stewart won the fdf, half pipe was 1.josh jackson, 2.dan kellar and 3.andrew mckiver
that pretty much covers it.
the big air would have been soo hard to judge, max was killing it hard school, dave weale was slicing clean sw7s, it was beautiful.
the slopestyle and half-pipe are open. you gotta ask real nice to get into the rail jam and the big air. i think it was better when teh slopestyle was open and free and they jsut threw money out for tricks on the spot. more fun that way, more jam style. now it is a judged by snowboarders jam...
there are ususally rails and jumps set up into april though it may be a hike park by then. hopefully later this year as the season seems to have shifted later.
don't blame pete for the weather. that's all up to dubbeah!
too bad about our urban rails though. they were so easy to put in, and so safe, and we had 7 at the end of last year. I guess new rules came in or something banning them from our park...
jon hill and i just finished a sweet build, some of the other dudes came in to shape our glorious take offs. hopefully they will even get another booter made.
it is 5:40, so if oyu check the blue web came you may see them workign .
forgive the spelling, it is really late, and this is my...
just remember everyone, skiers are gay. we don;t have the money in the sport like boarders so they will get priority. we need to pressure blue into have a skier only comp sometime this year. these snowboard only comps are mad lame!
blue is getting better, they just need to nuke it with snow this week and a couple of builds will go on. there was a bit of a lack of a plan and some questionable ideas but give it time, they are basically 2 weeks into their season
blue mountain is two hours away, it is the the best though no snow. mount st louis is a little closer and i hear they have snow. as for bars in toronto, i don;t remeber any names of any bars i have ever gone to there, what i do remeber is retarded cover charges, high prices and many douche bags.
alex's switch 270 on 270 out was stomped to shit, it was so dope he definitley deserved the win, max maybe should have switched it up a bit and martin killed it too. it was a fun ass comp for sure, it can only get better.
blue is having some snow problems, but their mini-park is pretty fun...
oh, and there is a crap load of fun going on today. finals are about to be announced, well they probably are already announced... but this event is kicking ass. the set up came through amazingly!!
that is going to be an amazing camp. beaver had such a good park last year, so much flow, so many options in one run. i think i have school on wednesday but i may have to drop by the beav apres l'ecole.
i was just at the hill, and the set up is awsome! the have farmed a whole bunch of snow and will be finishing off the jump later tonight. the rail is the 14m long 3m high i-beam from last year set up on a bit of a down. nice long jump going to it (i assume, as there is no jump at the moment...
