Phone the Blackcomb ski patrol number (604-935-5596)...they tend to be a bit more on the money than the W/B snow phone. I find the W/B snow phone exaggerates a bit too much.

It's not even a matter of being reckless. If you're skiing on the side of a run, no one is near you, and you're in control - you DON'T need to be harassed by mtn. safety.

It's true! A couple of years ago, I went in search of the nearest blood donor clinic and was told that I'd have to go down to the city. I asked why, and they basically confirmed that fact! Gross!

I have both Karmas and Scratch BCs - I like my Karmas waaaaay more than my BCs. They're still stiff, but are a hell of a lot lighter than the BCs. Definitely go for the Karmas!
