technology is advancing, but as far as computer speeds go and power, not so much a few years ago there were huge changes, but now it is slight minor changes to a desktop or laptop. not big enough to buy brand new

then you just suck

but not as much as it was 5 to 10 years ago, the advancements are not exceptionally huge and don't make that big of a difference and with the advanced you can upgrade as well
