    Good photo backpack

I need a solid photography backpack to hold a 60d, 24-105, 70-200 f4 a few accessories and a 055/501 tripod setup. If i could also hold a slider on it that would be great. Will be taking this on long treks and skiing with it, so durable, weather resistant would be awesome. Thanks!

Adobe After Effects CS5.5 and Premiere Pro CS5.5for $450... damn.

So as much as I think final cut pro x is victimized much more than it deserves, this is an interesting alternative to final cut or avid. I know avid is having some special pricing at $300 or something, but only premiere and final cut are 64 bit out of the three. There is one catch though, you...

    Switching from zoom to prime?

So, at the moment I have three lenses, a Tamron 17-50, Pentax SMC 50 1.4, and canon 70-200 f4. I am considering selling my 17-50 and getting 2 more primes. I would do this to my 70-200 also, but that would be very expensive. I feel that a 14mm prime would be better than the zoom for follows...

A spectacular video and proof that filmmaking is accessible to almost anyone

This is one of my favorite short videos of all time, and I figured I would share it with you all. Its not mine, so credit doesn't go to me, but to the artist Matthew Brown. This was shot entirely on a naked HV40 (no tripod, 35mm adapter or anything else). You can produce almost exactly similar...
