and when you play clean you can really tell how good/bad you are, because it's harder to sound good clean than it is with distortion.

I don't have an acoustic, looking at some though, but it is pretty fun to play unplugged for a change, you can only play with distortion so much and then you need a change of pace every once in awhile.

well, I play a shitty Epiphone, it's not very good, I mean, it plays well, but I'd love a LP or SG, [someday!], but 7 strings are....pointless? if you have a bass player, you dont need one. if you like bass that much, get one, they are WAY funner than a 7 string. but my Epiphone gets the job...

yep. I personally like the get up kids a little better, I've listenend to them longer, but saves the day is a really good band
