i think he was on line last year but that could've changed. he's an amazing skier and seems to be able to stick every trick in the book. he's definitely on his way up in the ski world.

6 feet is plenty deep unless you going to be landing straight on your head. Most of the time when you hit the water your head doesn't even go under and even if you did make it to the bottom wearing skis and a lifejacket your going to be going so slow that it won't hurt at all.

Wet pool liner works good for sliding down, it's a lot faster then carpet with soap and you don't have to worry about getting a whole bunch of soap in the lake. As for swimming away just ware a lifejacket and swim with your arms. and for the guy thinking of dropping 45' into water on skis...
