So im looking at getting a pair of the dukes to go with the praxis mtn jibs (similar to next years jj's). The dukes look pretty solid but the only complaint i've heard about them is that the heel sometimes pulls out due to only one screw in that area. This problem would also seem to be worse...

yeah, thats sorta what i said. but im talking about vr28 black iridium which is vr28 with an iridium coating.

^^the vr28 black iridiums i had with my a frames were way more mirrored than normal black iridium. they are sort of a greyish mirrored coloer. i think both of you are thinking about normal vr28, which is a rosey color.

181 should be perfect for you. im the exact same size and ski a 186, but i like them long. as for the flex, they might be a little to stiff for jibbing. i flexed them when i was i tahoe and they seemed a little to stiff for butters and what not. they weren't quite 2x4s though.

vr28 is a little darker than black iridium, i think about the same as fire, but it doesn't look as gay. black, gold, fire, and vr28 black iridium would all be good for bright sunny days. (ive tried all but gold in sunny light) i have emerald right now and they are sick as fuck. they look...

yeah, it happend to me with my new skis. i would dull the edges under foot a little.

my mountain in AK just closed with 208" up top and more coming down. closing day was knee deep. they don't make any money if they stay open longer so the lifts are done running.

no, all dalbellos are pretty narrow. i doubt they'd fit you. try looking at somthing else. if you really have your heart set on them, try before you buy.
