    K2 silencers

there are better skis out there if you can get last years or spend an extra $100. Check out last yrs salomon dumont in a 181 or an armada ar6 or line chronic. 179 being too short depends on where youre mounting them really, 170-182 should be fine in terms of length.

    Pnw pow ski

I am in need of a new pow ski and there is just too much damn choice. First of all I am 5 11 and 150lbs and have the following skis 179 obsethed 176 dumont and 181 reno rocker. What I really want is a floaty pow ski for whistler. I want a ski for more bc jibbing and small cliffs, not much...

    Hellbents on Groomers?

you can rail hellbents on groomers if you want to, takes a slightly wider stance but they rip and yes they do have quite a large stopping distance so you need to think 2 or 3 seconds ahead, all in all though a pretty versatile ski for something with so much rocker.

What is the deal with the alpha 1 ??

alpha one has mad rev sidecut not entirely sure why though, similar to the donner party/arg, but not a pow ski, so why? mad soft too, thats why there will be an alpha 2 (cough cough) next yr.

Alpha 1 vs Reno Rocker vs Walls (09s)

the wall is very different to the other 2. A bit more info would help ie height weight ability where you ski, what you want the ski for ie butters , 60ft tables, pipe, all mountain. There are very few people that have skied the alpha one but it does look like an interesting jibbing ski.

Salomon STH heel forward pressure adjustment

I'm pretty sure all salomon sth bindings use the same fwd pressure worm screw. STH stands for steel tech housing, the heel piece uses a steel track. This same track used to be used in salomons beefiest bindings back in the day ie salomon s916 and s920. The retail bindings such as the salomon...

Salomon STH heel forward pressure adjustment

the screw should sit around five mill out with a boot in it. There is a small rectangle set into behind the screw, the back of this rectangle should be flush with the back of the binding, it is difficult to see but i assure you its there. the screw itself should not be flush, that would be too...

    Bindings for my Rockers/Jibs..

generally speaking the higher din bindings use better components not just stronger springs. for example the salomon z12 and sth 12/14 are different the sth has a stronger toe piece and a different heel track with an extra screw. The jester has metal toe wings whereas the baron has plastic wings...

    Bindings for my Rockers/Jibs..

the new deadbolts are sick and yes they are a tyrolia binding interestingly enough Amplid are using this new binding as well. They have ditched the diagnol heel release and put in a flat afd on the 15 din version which is also the same as a head mojo 15, bomber binding. Dont like...

    Zune or ipod

get a 16gb nano if you have the extra cash. If you're using it for skiing get the nano over the classic as the original ipod stores its memory differently and doesnt like to be shook around or be in the cold. My gen 2 8gb nano is still running just as well as the day I bought it and I have done...

    4frnt binding mounting? +k

jigs are templates shops use to put your binding on the ski, it is in order to make sure all the holes they drill are the right pattern, for instance the position of where you need to drill for a 4frnt binding is different to a salomon. Any store which sells your binding will have a jig to put...

One fun ski, one jump ski, which to get??

line chronic if your leaning towards a stiff ski or a salomon suspect for a medium flex. Both would be one ski that does everything.

    Bindings for my new JJs??

salomon sth 14 or sth 16 would be my personal preference. Another option is a marker jester but I personally prefer salomon. the sth from salomon are bomber bindings as they have alot of the parts from their race stock bindings.

    Mounting point on line elizabeth

I had 06/07 lizzies and rcmd was -2cm behind centre, however I remounted them dead centre as I didnt like the ski at rcmd. Though it would dive in any pow over 6inches deep.

Ski to go with Obsethed PNW pow sticks?

I currently have a 176 dumont for park and a 179 obsethed for all mountain. What I really want is a ski for 12' + of powder. I am going to be skiing whistler and stuff gets tracked out fast. I want a ski for trees and bowls with the odd 15ft cliff thrown in for good measure. Id also like to do...

Softer flex than rampage, full tilt

Ok so I have a dalbello krypton rampage currently and get pretty bad shin bang every second or third days skiing. Its not from always landing backseat and when I do have the shin bang I really can barely flex my boots even on a spring day. I think part of the problem is cos Im a skinny bastard...

Dubya tee eff, ski boots are t3h suck.

If you can explain the problems you have had in each of the boots that would help get an idea of what ur looking at in terms of a new boot. ie; pressure on your anke, ball of foot pain, cold feet, numb feet, toe bang, too much heel lift, pressure on your instep etc. If the problem is volume...

    Full Tilt question.

I have a d width foot and fit almost perfect in a dalbello and full tilt though I needed to stretch my little toe area but I need to do that with any boot. If you get the liner moulded with a toe cap that will maximise toe box space. The intuition liners come up short before they are heated and...
