Am I out of Line? WTF

Call some shops at quiet times and have them rake through their parts bins then hook up the guy with beers and/or cash.

The Itunes genius IS a genius

It's kind of nice but the problem I have with it is it only gives you the "popular" tracks, since a lot of it is based on other iTunes users' habits. I feel like it's dumbing down what I listen to. Not that it's bad to listen to popular tracks but most of my songs aren't getting selected at...

    Mounting Check

You know you want them at -1 but you don't know what -1 is? That doesn't make sense. Go on the balance point, which will be just back of centre.

    07/08 Rossi Ghetto's

Don't mount forward of centre. Mount the ski backwards.

    Bending FKS 120 brakes

Also I've heard of a lot of guys just doing it while mounted (including Rossi team). It's really no different to the method I'm talking about but it'll just be a little more tricky to get your vice grips in there to clamp. Just crank the din, snap in a boot and give 'er.

    Bending FKS 120 brakes

Yeah, that TGR thread gave you a step by step but the pictures are gone. The important thing is when you're re-bending you clamp it hard with your vice grips and torque against that when you bend so that nothing in the internals of the bindings get torqued. The nice thing is the size of the...

    Bending FKS 120 brakes

I've done them a few times without taking them apart, including my own ones. You still need a good vice to clamp everything TIGHT (blocks of wood top and bottom for protection). Bend both arms straight at the same time then for each arm clamp a vice grip onto the arm beside the binding housing...

Help needed! boots in larger sizes

Plus you only need a 29, thaat's hardly big. Just plan a trip to a ski town this winter and get them while you're there.

Help needed! boots in larger sizes

That's exactly my point. Very few people know how boots should fit. If it feels good to you right out of the box then it's almost certainly the wrong boot. Hey, it's your money.

    Amplid boot

It is the same as the Line Transfer. Raichle clone.

Help needed! boots in larger sizes

Don't buy them online. I can guarantee you'll regret it halfway through the winter but put up with a year or two of painful bad fitting boots then buy again. Save yourself a load of money and pain and go to a shop, surely there is one wherever you ski. Or take a trip to a big resort and get...

Making a good panoramic shot- need some tips

    Scott Punisher

Prophets feel way more playful when you ski them than you'd think. I much prefered them to Punishers, they'd make a sick park ski. I'm your size and I'd definitely go for the 90 instead of the Punisher. The one thing the Punisher has going for it is it comes in a 191. Pretty nice skis still.

    Where to mount bacons

That's what Line's site says now but I measured my friend's 07/08 and the line was 6cm back.

Need suggestion for mounting from experienced skiier

Core centre is the middle of the core. True centre is the middle of the ski.

    Where to mount bacons

Trimmer put his on the line (6 back) and says they rip. I'd go 2 to 4 back if depending how much switch you're doing.

How to remove stripped binding screw?

EZ-out will do it. If it's just one then you can sometimes just spin the whole toe around and it'll twist off. Or drill off the head completely (don't go deep enough to damage the binding itself), then lift the binding off. You're left with a stump. File two sides of that and use...
