Teaching my girl friend how to ski?!

well, on the reverse of this... i've skied my whole life. and would never even think about dating a non skier/snowboarder. I would not have the patience to teach them, cause I would want to be out ripping it and they'd just slow me down. i have a feeling it could be the same way for most...

loveland usually stays open until mid may, the basin through mid june.... the rest have stupid forest service permits that run out in mid to late april (this does not mean though that the're completely closed as copper and keystone keep their park upkeep for after season photo shoots)

    WRX Insurance

my rates on my saab 9-2x aren't that bad (about 600 ever 6 months). But the 9-2x insurance is less than the WRX (even though they're the same car w/ different emblems) because less people crash the 9-2x whereas many young hot shot men crash their WRXs pretty quick.

*VIDEO* Who wants to see the 08 Open Slope Course??? POV *VIDEO*

jumps don't look that small. they're table tops not cheese wedges which always make jumps look much bigger.... but the distance is usually similar. they're not x-games size, but still respectable. it will make people have to get more tech on them so it's not just a spin to win (hopefully)

    Women at x-games

So why have we yet to get women's slope at x? i know before there either we not enough women involved or not yet advanced enough to hit the course, but now that argument is no longer feasible.

    Getting too serious about skiing

good call! I'm a competitive person my nature, not only with others, but with myself as well. I'm not happy unless I give 150% of myself. And while you learn, sometimes you loose touch with why you started in the first place. OR you end up pushing yourself too hard and getting hurt. I...

IF YOU ARE GOING INTO THE BACK COUNTRY PLEASE USE CAUTION

those 70 mph winds last week did nothing good. Even when those top layers settle there is going to be some weird granular stuff down deep.
