Dunedin is about 3hours drive from the best hills in NZ. You can hitch but is a bit dodge with skis. Buses go from dunedin to queenstown and wanaka pretty often and cost about $50 nzdollars. Check out nzski.co.nz, cardrona.co.nz, treblecone.co.nz and snowparknz.com.

we did that at coronet last year in the quest halfpipe series but the organisers were not happy and clipped our season passes. Personally i think we just need to make sure everyone knows were skiing is going especially in NZ. Not just fucken bigfeet and skiboards

Is everyone going to be doing the major comps this year? The slopestyle series at Remarks will be built by skiers as well as boarders so the course will be sick and the SnowPark is gauranteed to have snow from the day it opens. It would be good for those NZers on NS to know each other at the comps.

All of Qtown will now be moving to Wanaka as the price for Coronet and Remarks season passes will be full price. Everyone to the snowpark

National Pass for sure. Then the whole of the south island will be mine. Hopefully the snowpark will be open, otherwise I will be working part time at the remarks on the terrain park hopefully.

If you are prepared to walk a bit then remarks is by far the best mountain around. The park is not as good as snowpark but the crew are super cool and will build hits that you want.

The Remarkables and Coronet Peak for sure. Queenstown is the best place to base yourself for jobs and accomodation. Wanaka is the arse end of fuck-all

crappy pow? TC was good for like one day last year. The remarks had some sick dumps of super light pow with it loading into the chutes so deep you needed a snrorkel! PLUS I probably had the sickest powder day ever ( Northern Hemisphere included) at Coronet early season. My buddy who flies planes...
