I am not doctor, but I would not think a helmet would make a difference. He had planned 99% of this, very well. With the deep snow, steep & scoped landing a helmet might break his neck but not save his skull after falling 245' if he hit something.

I am pretty sure that, technically, there are no glaciers up there. Just what is referred to as permanent snowpack. Could be wrong though.

Used to be a pony tow in Truro near the park on Young St. People used to ski on Mt Ton between Truro and New Glasgow. Cape Smokey may be a lost area this season too. They lost their general manager and operations manager, plus they have a hard time opening on a good year.

Got first turns at Crabbe last Thursday, Nov 25th. Quite a few more got some turns over the weekend.

Wentworth has not approached anyone about buying High Head in many. many years. The price was only in the league of an Intrawest at this time. And before any rumours start, Wentworth is not talking with Intrawest either.
