Definitely go with the 179s. 169s would be way too small. They ski shorter than they measure because of the rocker, so the 169s are tiny..

I am a little taller than you and I sold my bacons and got 189 hellbents. If you plan on skiing switch at all or mounting forward of recommended the bacons will feel reallly small. I had them mounted at recommended and they were just long enough for forward skiing but I had a rediculously...
