Yo, do you people think I should get brand new 05/06 182 Salomon foils or used but not abused 04/05 180 AR5's. They are both roughly the same price. I ski quite bit of park, but I also like to rip pretty fast and carve the Pow. I weigh 155lbs Cheers

yo, dude, I am looking at the foils as well, I was wondering how much you are looking at paying. I have never skied them, but the people who have seem to like them...accually seem to love them as a do everything ski. THe people who bash them seem to do so when they haven't ridden them, they do...

SO what'll it be, I have been skiing all my life and would think that i would be able to handle long skis but the longest I have skied on is 169, for a 5'11" 155 lb guy, using these skis for all mountain, and booters (I have park skis) ARE 182 FOILS TOO LONG?

So, I am looking at a pair of 182 foils for myself, a 5'11" 155 lb agressive skier...too long? that was my thought, but I had people on this site say they were perfect. Hook me some feedback Cheers

Why is it advantageous to ski the bigger skis. Is it for stability on landings and a better looking style in the air?
