Out of everyone that bought one. My snowpants have a magnet white strip thing on the left leg but unlike the two on the right side there is no zipper for the pocket so it seems kinda pointless, anyone else notice this?

its a shell dude. thats the way to go, it gives you a choice of how much to layer up and you can choose your mobility, i live in NH so it gets freezing up here and i use a shell and its fine
