Difference between the newer no pivot looks to older pivot looks.

Anybody ever consider a Look/Rossi pivot heel with a Salomon toe piece? The Solly toe piece having the pivoting ball... Wonder if that'd work.

    Edge problem

Edges will rust no matter how many times you use your skis. After you get home from skiing, leave your skis base up and let them dry up before putting them away. Best place is to keep them inside so the water can evaporate. And like it has been mentioned before, use a gummy stone to remove any...

Difference between the newer no pivot looks to older pivot looks.

Which type of fall was the Line reactor supposed to address? Was it the backwards twisting?

Difference between the newer no pivot looks to older pivot looks.

Don't all the Rossi/Look toe pieces have lateral and upward release though? I'm pretty sure about the lateral release. When I talked to my Rossi rep, he said that the engineers saw the benefits of a higher forward pressure to outweigh the benefits of a pivoting heelpiece. So essentially, there...

Anyone Hear of the Nordica Hot Rod Nitrous 06/07

aah, sorry. Got the Top Fuel and Nitrous mixed up. I tried the Top Fuel and found it to be really stiff compared to other boots I have tried out. I can flex it, but for freeride, I didn't like the 115 flex in the Top Fuel model.

    Warrenty?

Is there any indications of impact on the topsheet that would cause it to peel? If there is, then you might have a hard time convincing Volkl that it's a defect.

    Look p12 jib mounting points

Are you asking for measurments? Best way is to take off your exisiting bindings and measure everything with a pair of Vernier calipers.

    Anybody use Head Edge Boots?

Good boots. They have micro-adjust buckles, flip-out levers on the buckles, and macro ratchets (allows you to adjust the buckle ladder without tools). They are however very wide. So if you have normal sized feet, you may find them to be very sloppy after they pack out. Make sure you get a shell...

Awesome boot. It's still though, really stiff. If you're a powerful skiier, it'll hold up really well.

    Look p12 jib mounting points

All pivot heel bindings have the same mounting holes. This includes all Look P-series bindings and all Rossi, Axial bindings. The new PX and Axial2 bindings are very similar. The toepiece have the same mounting holes as the old pivot bindings. The heelpiece however uses the holes for Rossi...

    Shop PROBLEMS

Get the shop tech to measure it in front of you and mark it. Someone at my store thought K2's Core center marking was true center, so it can be mistaken. If they don't want to, just tell them you want to see what it looks like with your boot sitting on the ski.

    Shop PROBLEMS

Actually, I find it to be a bit of both. The techs need to have the right attitude working on other people's equipment. A few of the techs that I've had work for me, they either don't pay attention or feel that they'll get paid no matter how well they do a job, so they'll do things half-assed...

    Forward Pressure

With that boot sole, your DIN will still be the same. You fall under the 330+ mm bracket

    Shitty boots

One problem is the toe not being able to slide out across the AFD. If the bottom of your boot is worn, then there will be too much play between your binding and boot. On the toe and heel sections of your boot, if those are worn, then your boot might not engage properly into your binding. As...

please note it says "feeler" and I'd like to know how much you guys are willing to pay. The Scratch FS WRS might be called for already, but the older FSs may still be up for grabs. Forgot to mention that it's been drilled twice already.
