Do u believe in global warming?

most likely our practices arn't helping.. but I guess I'd have to check the "i don't believe" box... I'd also like to add that Global Warming as we are experiencing it on earth is also ocurring on Mars... so, as much as we'd like to point the fingers at ourselves, the problem may be more of a...

    Bindings

you know I hear that alot on these forums... I suppose, w/o any evidence of it, the fact marker has a big race heritage might hurt its cred w/ the freestyle community.. but that's purely a stab in the dark...

    Binding Setting/Edges

the whole din thing is determed by a chart man, if you're doing this yourself you can look it up online, but I'd reccommend you just have a shop do it.. they have all the up to date charts for determining that

    Bindings

I have 2 pairs of salomons and have loved them. Their newer stuff is all supposed to be lightweight. Now I'm no pro, and have never really wieghed them, and am not really sure I'd notice the dif between them and a slightly lighter/heavier one... but w/ that being said the weight and durability...

Just bought my 1st pair of boots...

the one thing you'll wanna be real careful about on your boots as far as walking around on asphalt is concerned, is the AFD (anti-friction device). that's the smooth part on the bottom of the boot below the toes. THe condition of that piece greatly affcts how the boot releases from the bindings...

    Helmet fit???

I havn't exactly fitted a bunch of helmets recently, I've had the same once since the 8th grade and I've graduated for college... but the idea is that it is comfortable but snug. Saying that, alot of ppl like to wear beanies and such underneath the helmet, so you gotta consider that... Mine...

    Fat skis

for me apparently I'm a bigger fan of a 'smaller' ski for the park, not length but width. I ride last years Foils for all mtn and thought even those were a bit bigger than I wanted for park. I got this years SPKs and love them for the park, now that might have to do w/ the fact I'm not exactly...

Anyone who knows how to mount skis? or some help about how to figure out true center

ouch man... alrigth I don't wanna get into it w/ you.. but for recreational skiers who are trying it out for the first time and are buying 120 dollar rossy axiums my personal opinion is that mounting at reccomended is a fair situation until they get a hang of it and decide more specifically what...

Anyone who knows how to mount skis? or some help about how to figure out true center

yeah yeah... a few hours after I posted that it him me that line is recommended... 98% of the ppl that come into Sports Authority just have their stuff tossed on at that line... I don't even bother confusing ppl w/ other choices at that point in the game... my bad

    Laptops, pc's , macbooks, powerbooks

the whole idea of getting a PC over a laptop isn't a bad one.. if you honestly don't see yourself utilizing the mobility thing.. you can get a comp that's 2x as good for 1/2 the cost... but if mobility is a deal.. I got an ACER and love it... sorry to jump off the mac rules bandwagon there...

Anyone who knows how to mount skis? or some help about how to figure out true center

umm.... I work for a shop and when something needs to be mounted true center you place the appropriate template on the skie, but hte boot on it, adjust to the boot, then align up the nice lil' arrow on the template w/ the nicer lil' line on the skis... did I miss anything.... hm... no I think...

    Problems jumping.

I'm more on my way up the trick list the 1st time... but what really helped me get my 3's dialed in was being able to stomp real slow 180s... once I could spin 180, spot the landing, and stomp it w/ ample time.. the 3 was just the next step, a slightly harder pop... lookin' over the shoulder a...

    Catching edges??

all skis, when edged, are supposed to be detuned a bit at the main contact points of the ski, the fronts and backs... for rails I suppose you could do the same underfoot.. but don't worry the rails themselves act as detuners quite adequately..
