that sucks. I just learned rodeo 7's and cork 9's today. I'm stoked on that.
And some crazy grabbed cork 5. It's like an opposite lui kang (poked out forward) and a safety on the other foot.
most boards run between 50-80. Depending on size, wood, design, how pretty you want me to make it look!
I can make boards all the way up to 5 feet, and 11" wide. So anything in that range is possible.
oh god yes. I've been riding for almost a month now. It's sooo nice to just ride around in the dead of the night when the streets are empty. I've also found that longboarding and photography go hand-in-hand.
Ps. anyone that wants a custum built longboard for a great price pm me, I make them!
My friend built a winch for ~400$. It was super fun to use. We set it up on a rocky point on a lake so we didn't need a drop pool. Your best bet is to check out http://winchskating.com/ and look around/ask questions.
the only solid and reliable cameras for -200 are used film SLR's. Any PAS under that price will have like a second shutter lag, which makes ski photography near umpossible.
don't waste your time, go to mslm where they have real size jumps. I worked and skied at glen eden all winter, and i learned more at mslm in one day then i did all season at glen eden.
That's cool. I ski/teach with him all the time. I'm assuming you were the one that was supposed to come to MSLM on easter weekend but didn't. You missed out, luke got cork 7's and i learned flat 5's... and it was a bluebird day. You should come this weekend tho.
Today was so nice. Bluebird skies and not too much wind in the outback.
The last jump was perfection. I learned flat 5's, and almost flat 7's today, I'm stoked.
