maybe i'm just an UBER n00b on skis, but i have 06/07 chronics, and i love them for being a sick all around ski, but i cant butter for shit on em, and i'm 6'2" 210lbs

so being 6'2" 210, and having line chronics that are 167's would be pretty impossible to butter on?

i'm looking to get into the race scene and i was wondering if anyone has any race skis they want to get rid of, i'm a poor college kid so if u have anything keep the prices fair!

werd, i found a sick deal on 2 pr, 1 GS, 1 SL 166's & 187's for only $187 so i think i may jump on that . did i mention that they are Fischer RC4's? w00t

^ hahaha yea, i tried to ski the GS on 167 LINE Chronics and it was interesting, got the edges sharpened prior to race but was still slidin around a lot, never got to race the SL tho, i was only entered as a guest racer in the GS which i LOVED

well i'm a poor college kid, and probablly dont have enough $ to get 2 pairs, one for each event. So should i just aim between 163 & 187 to get the best of both worlds, or will that just basically hurt me a bit in each event? and yes i know i should go to a ski shop, but i'm in class from 8-8...

well i live in michigan, so i'll be doing short slalom & GS courses.......does that help

ok, so i love the whole park scene, but i tried racing this year and I got a huge rush out of it. anyways. i raced on my park skis, and i was wondering what a good length racing ski would be to buy? i am 6'2 and about 210 lbs. anyone know what i need?
