    Lines equal tip-tail patent

I need to make two points of clarification before this gets out of hand. 1.) Line does have the patent on twin tip skis, it's patent no. des.378647 2.) We purposely don't enforce the patent in order to not inhibit progression. We believe that having the ability to ski fakie is key to the...

    A Message From Jason Levinthal

ok CKO, tell me why Line isn't cool...also what makes a company cool? What is your criteria? Because if it is simply that they are core, then the only company that can be cool is Armada because right now they're the only ones who don't make carving skis, all mountain skis, race skis, snow...

    Truth about Look and Rossignol

Dude le Ski bum...Nordica is owned by Tecnica, not Bennetton...just happened a few months ago, so you were half correct, and it's Montebello, Italy...Karhu did not invent the Look/Rossi binding, but Dave Dodge, the inventor of the Line binding worked for Look before he worked for Burton, and...

    Line Maverick= best ski ever

Actually the binding works perfectly...Maybe you should take it from some one who has actually skied on it rather than some jack ass who picked it up in a shop. What do you mean it doesn't work? Have you put it throught the tests? Have you skied it in park? Big Mtn.? Carving on groomed...

xtremeski_nz, Wow! That was the most intelligent response to a legitimate question I've ever read. Would you mind enlightening the rest of us as to exactly why Line sucks? You seem to be an expert on the subject.

    FUCK LINE!! (sorta)

The Line bindings rule. Is it so bad that we have to wait another two weeks for THE MOST revolutionary product we've ever seen. This changes everything. Also, the binding is not heavier than anyother high end binding (Salomon 914 Poweraxe, Marker Piston Control, etc.) It just feels different...

    Line

Of course he said that, he's a Dynastar rep and he's scared of what the Reactor will do to ski bindings. Also, what is that jibberish about how the heel moves so it will break a lot of skis? Personally, I'm going to sit tight and wait until mid season and see what happens. Until then I'm not...

What is on the bottoms of skis?

I believe it's called Polyethylene. There are several grades, but two basic catagories: Extruded and Sintered.
