i actually laughed out loud a little when i saw the title of this thread

i like using short poles becaue they stay out of the way. using long poles in the park just gets annoying to me. i would use no poles but i feel too clumsy in the lift lines.

i have the green and orange scotts, but i didnt buy them, i won them in a contest. i would never pay for poles. before these i just stole poles from my mountain. i have them cut down so that if i stand with my arms straight down, the tips of my fingers barely touch the top of the poles.

i was watching a skier cross at my mountain from the lift, and the big fat dude would just blow by everyone on the straightaway. it was because he was heavier. gravity pulls him down the mountain faster. im 222 and its easier for me to hit jumps than my friend whos like 130. but i imagine...

haha i remember alot of this stuff. i just remember when i first joined Lateralis was the fuckin man and nobody fucked with him. he just owned everyone on this site. i wish he would come back.
