So I got a Heli-pro for xmas and being on the east coast I don't really need an avy shovel or probe. So I usually only have snacks, go pro, mounts, some extra layers and gloves. NS what do you put in your pack?

I've been looking for a new beanie and checked out EC Headwear's (now Eastern Collective) site and all it had were those phone cables. What happened to the Headwear company we all loved? Why are they only making phone cables? Most importantly where can I get EC hats?

I want to get a shovel I can put in my backpack like a avalanche shovel, but bigger. Some friends and I want to build some booters this year but none of us have shovels. Avalanche shovels are easily concealed, but wouldn't seem effective for building jumps.

Has anyone built any jumps at resorts. I could understand ski patrol being cool with it at any west coast mountain but in the east coast they seem pretty uptight about it. My crew has a sick spot to build a jump line at my mountain but we are worried its a for sure pass pulled.

I'm looking to get a new pair of skis this year. Last year I spent most of my time freeskiing in the woods on my brothers volkl bridges. I love those because they're stiff, have a little bit of rocker, and are very nimble. But I'm wondering if there are any other skis that might do a better job...
