Both are extremely good skis. They ski a lot more like directional twins though. They have a true twin construction, but they definitely don't ski well switch. That being said, they rip everywhere on the mountain except in the park. Sick skis.

I actually skied on a ski from every line from Salomon, Volkl, Atomic, Rossignol, and Nordica last March and the March before that at the employee demo day at my mountain. I've skied on a lot of different skis, trust me. I look for a ski that can handle more than just hardpack.

Umm... not so much. I wish I'd be cool enough like she is to act like she's better than everyone else when she can throw the sickest flailing no grab threes and complain about jumps at comps being too big.

The only brand of traditional downhill skis I'd even think about skiing on would be Nordica.

The only problem with that is that you're missing your edge over the contact point on the tip of that ski. Cutting the edge off and simply p-texing over the area will leave you with a ski that will most likely be extremely hard or impossible to initiate a turn. I know to repair something like...
