True, most boot manufacturers put fairly low quality footbeds in boots, thats why its a great idea to get custom ones. To the thread creator though, boots are supposed to fit tight, very tight in the case of a high performance boot, but they will pack out. I put custom footbeds in all my boots...

i second this, chronics or blends, great all mountain ski like the PE, but a little less "planky" in my opinion.

i would bend them ones for the arg's, skis without breaks are bad news. and leashes dont always guarantee a speedy recovery so if they were mine i would definitley bend them, even if its a pain.

a grey or black helmet looks good with almost any color combo, and as for the beanie-under you either can size up with the helmet, or rip all the padding out like lots of people do. For goggles, if you want to look like most of NS then get crowbars, they fit the majority of peoples faces really...

50% of the skiers i know swear by them, the other 50% dont feel a difference. I think it comes down to skier type, personal preference, and possibly a placebo-like affect. I use them on my park boots, but find no need or difference for them on my race boots. Funny how that works...
