For 2021, the new Santa Ana 98, replaces the Santa Ana 100, and features Nordica’s True Tip Technology successfully introduced on the award-winning Santa Ana 88 this year. Reducing the width by 2mm applied to a new size range results in consistent shape and rocker-camber profiles for exceptional edge hold on firm snow, and an early rise tip and tail rocker profile enhances versatility, offering flotation in softer snow. True Tip Technology, which reduces the amount of heavy ABS plastic in the tip, and a new carbon-reinforced wood core helps make the new Santa Ana’s quieter and easier to turn. A layer of lightweight Terrain Specific Metal (TSM) adds stability and flexibility to specific areas of the ski based on its 98mm waist. It’s offered in five new sizes, taking into account skier height, weight, turn shape, and conditions, for consistent feel and confident edge hold.
