If the QST 106 was among the best skis of the test for pointing it, the
Salomon QST Blank takes the number one spot. This ski is a monster in crud and crushed it in the pow. They feel very powerful in cruddy, mixed snow but pull off a neat trick of feeling pretty playful in soft snow. They aren't overly heavy for the size, they might even make a good touring ski but fell narrowly short of their smaller stablemate, the QST 106, on user-friendliness.
"Light weight, nice swing weight, carves well and links turns together nicely. Solid tails and nice early rise tips floated super well." - Bailey Lahure
"Really floaty and fun ski, turned well and held an edge well. Aggressive ski and charges through crud, definitely not for the faint-hearted though." - Lisa Cormier
