Presuming you mean a skinnier waist, most dedicated pipe skis are in the 85-93mm waist range. So pros use mildly wider, many casual people out get by with things in the 100s

If you mean thickness of the ski, that is a minor factor - stiffness of materials/flex/length play far more of a factor
