I spent a week at the Newschoolers ski test walking (and skiing) around saying "socks good" to everyone I could persuade to listen. These were my first pair of Dissents but certainly won't be my last. They've become my go-to socks for all days, except for the occasional absolutely Baltic day, on which I'll reach for the thicker GFX padded. The merino wool means they don't stink too bad even after a few days of wear, which is clutch because I only have the one pair. The compression doesn't seem to ever loosen or stretch out, which is a first for me, and means they keep on being supportive even if you're a bit lax with the "washing them" thing. They really do seem to help me ski harder for longer, and recover better for the next day. Which is above and beyond for a sock, all things considered. - [tag=105085]@Twig[/tag]
