Pret has returned for the 18-19 season with three new adult helmets- the Refuge X, Cynic AT, and Haven X. Most notably, the Cynic AT, a one-off of their leading Cynic X. The Cynic AT is an ultralight, minimalist helmet, without sacrificing on safety.
Pret X Technology
Pret X is integrated into all of Pret's mid-high range models. The X models include tuned ventilation, a lightweight construction, optimal goggle/helmet integration, and MIPS. MIPS, also known as Multi-Directional Impact Protection System, was developed by brain surgeons and has been implemented across multiple brands as one of the new standards in ski helmets. MIPS comes into play when there are angled impacts to your head, the technology helps protect from a strain on the brain in these situations.
