Faction

Faction took last year's line simplification one step further this season by applying their four series of skis to both the women's and children's skis. The Candide series remains mostly the same with slight updates and new lengths. There is however the addition of the ski Candide mostly uses himself, the 5.0 (an upgraded version of the old 4.0). The Prodigy line has received a total overhaul, with the 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 receiving a more rockered profile, and new footprints in the 1.0 and 3.0 as well. The Women's skis have been consolidated into the mens line, and are now represented with an 'X'. Faction introduced the Prodigy 1.0x and the ProdigyW has been updated and renamed the Prodigy 2.0x. Newschoolers' Quick Review: [i]Although they are marketed as stiffer, to me, the generous rocker makes the 4.0 feel softer and more playful than the 3.0. They do a good job of being surfy and still
