Armada Outerwear
Since its inception in 2002, Armada Skis has led the way. The countless podiums, killer edits, and classic movie segments have long since proved their skis are second to none.
This year sees that same passion and innovation Armada puts into their skis directed towards a renewed focus on their outerwear. Armada’s Zero Series is proof that the brand can be relied upon to keep bringing fresh ideas to the table. Their new outerwear collection this year covers everything from streetwear-inspired freestyle pieces to technical freeride garms, for men and women.

-Freestyle is what Armada is known for and the Freestyle Collection is inspired by skiers who believe in “freedom of expression through individual style”, skiers like Torin Yater-Wallace, Kim Boberg, Mike Hornbeck, Brita Sigourney, and Oli Karlberg. - Be it slackcountry, backcountry, or going really steep and deep, like Tof Henry, those environments have different demands from the park and that is reflected in the Freeride Collection. Almost two decades old now, Armada have shown that they can more than compete outside the park, with skiers like Tof Henry and Todd Ligare – who dominates big mountain environments, not forgetting people like Ian Provo and Maude Raymond, who have long since graduated from the park.

A refreshed ‘AR Signature Fit’ is on every item in both collections. Hours of trial and error mean that the stuff is neither too baggy nor too tight, as Armada says: “You can trust that with every piece of garment from Armada you always know what you’re getting.”
As well as the comfort, performance, and aesthetics that each item provides, Armada has also put an emphasis on sustainability. They believe that a truly sustainable product is one that doesn’t end up in a landfill. To ensure their products stay on skiers, rather than in the junkyard, they’re working exclusively with quality partners so that their garments stand the test of time -GORE-TEX®, Cohaesive™, YKK®, Cordura®, and Thermolite®.
You’ll definitely appreciate that quality on days that the weather’s not on your side because all of Armada’s outerwear is 100% seam-sealed and will never have a waterproof and breathability rating less than 10K/10k. Where possible Armada has utilized recycled or sustainably sourced fabrics and materials. “This season, we’re not using any materials sourced from animals”.
So, man or woman, park or backcountry, whatever you’re looking for in your outerwear setup for this winter, Armada have you covered.
