Newschoolers' Review:

The Bent Chetler is an icon of a ski. They're extremely surfy, float great and are very playful offering infinite buttery fun! They carve well, but they do chatter a lot compared to other skis in the same bracket (ON3P Jeffrey 116, Volkl Bash 116 etc) and they are also noticeably heavier than the Magnum Opus and Candide 4s that they compete directly with. For fun on snow, they are one of the best powder skis out, but for charging or for in air activities, I'd say there are now better options in the jibby bracket. -Twig

Member Review:

I rode these everywhere on the mountain in Tahoe. They handled 2ft powder perfectly with effortless float, and actually performed really well on groomers for a rockered, wide powder ski. I wouldn't hesitate to pick these up, as they were durable and an overall really fun ride all over. -Swandog7

Characteristics: Floaty, Stable, Maneuverable

Manufacturer's Description:

The Atomic Backland Bent Chetler is a pillow-bashing, powder-slashing ski legend. With Chris’s input, it’s a ski that not only floats better in deep snow but also allows you to expand on the possibilities in powder. Blending an ABS sidewall construction with a revolutionary horizontal rocker, HRZN Tech adds 10% more surface area in tip and tail for better tracking through chop and crud, and less tip deflection. Its Powder Rocker profile combines the perfect amount of tip and tail turn-up, while the camber under foot delivers epic performance through turns and nose butters. With a Carbon Backbone that runs the length of the ski like a stabilizing backbone, a Step Down Sidewall 2.0 for durability and a 120 mm waist for limitless floatation, the Backland Bent Chetler is the ultimate playful tool for your powder missions.
