I think everyone would enjoy the BDOG Edgeless on rails. I've been on a pair for 2 seasons now, and I'm too lazy to use other skis when it's icy or the snow is machine-made. I've done two Edgeless reviews that can be found on youtube on my account djschaut. When this season starts--although I bought a pair of regular BDOGS--I'll still probably use my Edgeless I'm so used to them. But, on hard snow and on ice--especially in a crowd--it's nice to have edges. Sometimes on rock-hard jump take-offs you need edges to grip the snow with. But again, the Edgeless make rails in the park much easier and you're much less likely to slip out.
