Having been in the "real world" for 6 months now I'm constantly reminded of what I'm missing thanks to the Facebook posts of my friends still in college. Posts like "BEER PONG TONIGHT!!!!!" are a nice reminder of the carefree lifestyle I'm no longer a part of. Instead of looking forward to a deep, long, alcohol induced slumber on Saturday morning I'm trying to cram in a run, breakfast, shower and writing all between 7 and 9am. But I digress, here are the top 10 reasons I miss college, in no particular order:

10. You have 0 responsibilities. A general college truth, as a student your biggest responsibilities are to pass classes, not blow all you parents' money and avoid alcohol poisoning on the weekends.

9. You are learning constantly. You still learn stuff in the working world, but in college you are learning rapidly and consistently. Better yet you are in an environment that fosters dialogue and critical thinking. In the working world your critical problem solving skills are often shelved in place of the manager's often questionable decisions.

8. Free rockclimbing. This is a rather shallow one, but in college your school often pays for a lot of your recreational activities. For me, it was rockclimbing and skiing (as a recreational activity coordinator). Regardless, you get a lot of breaks as a student because you are A) poor and B) in school. When you graduate hang on to that student ID card. No sense in paying an extra 50 cents at the movie theater if you don't have to.
