It’s hard not to miss summer camp at Mount Hood. Sunny laps through the Windells park, fast-paced skate sessions in the Concrete Jungle, meeting new friends, learning from talented and friendly coaches, and having literally the best time ever. Summer camp is the funnest, which is why from now until next summer, we’re bringing you a tons of summer 2011 memories every Tuesday, in a weekly flashback right here on the Windells blog.
Take me back Tuesdays will be filled with photos and videos of your favorite summer shredding moments: the new tricks, the sweet park, the sick pros, the awesome sponsor nights, and more. Every week, as you countdown to next summer, you can get a little bit of that sunshine and sunny shred on the Windells blog.
For the first week, here are a sampling of our favorite moments from summer, stay tuned each week for more!

The rail section at the top of the park at the end of the summer was insane!

Session 7 was the
Technine Session! Campers got to play Zombie Dodgeball against the T9 pros.

Surface week was awesome! Campers got to tie dye tshirts as one of the Surface off hill activities.
The Salomon/Bonfire Team played Simon Says with campers in Session 3.

Austen Sweetin rode the Windells park all summer, taking on both jumps and rails with ridiculously smooth style (back at camp, he may have been seen yelling at campers through the mini megaphone at camp and the giving them stickers).

Skate races with our awesome skate coaches Ian Neal and Sev Boosinger happened every week–so fun!

Digger Dogs with Austin! The Windells Diggers are some of the hardest-working guys at camp and every day they still grill up tons of dogs for hungry snowboarders and skiers. Oh yeah, and they can shred!

Did we mention the funnest park ever? Yep! Jumps of all sizes, tons of different rails and jibs, two towropes, and tons of awesome people to ride with. Windells is definitely the “funnest” place on Earth!
