A very short trip report from wedensday's little adventure.
On wedensday 11th, lil punk and i went for a short ski tour to the south west ridge of
sron na gaoithe. From glenshee S.C, we skinned up sunnyside and down
into the allt coire fionn. From the A.C.F we slowly skinned up the
south west face to the summit. We skied off of south ridge twice, since
the snow was pretty stable at 819 meters any way. South and south west
aspects have got the best snow conditions right now. There is still
some windslab on south, south west and south east aspect above 950
meters and pretty much every other aspect is bomb proof. But there is
still some good snow to be found in sheltered locations on most aspects.
