On Sunday the freeski competition was held like every year on the big scaffolding structure standing .... meters high with a 30.. meter long big air. Twelve riders where invited including Joss Christensen, Gus Kenworthy, Kai Mahler, Elias Ambühl, Jesper Tjäder, Markus Eder, Oystein Braaten, Luca Tribondeau, Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, Oscar Wester, Luca Schuler and Jules Bonnaire.

While the qualifications riders get 3 hit on the big air and the 2 best count but one hit is judged on style and the second is judged on technicality. The finals are judged on a 2 hits ans the best one counts.
