Saturday at Freestyle.ch is the style day with thee distinct competitions held for the freeski scene, there is the Style Session, the usual Crossover Session and also the Laax Urban Stairset.

Style session

The style session is held for the second time this year, last year Phil Casabon took the win and you may also remember Candide Thovex doing a switch tailpress 3 just after landing (if you missed it watch it here : video link). This year, the format is the same and to keep it simple the best style wins and is judged by the other riders.

Crossover session

The crossover session has been held since 2006 and the format hasn't changed, athletes from all disciplines battle it out against each other to get crowned crossover champion of the year and is judged by how hyped up the crowed is !



Laax Urban Stairset

The Laax Stairset is small side event where any rider with enough skills could qualify online to participate. Thirty freeskiers including 5 invited pros battled it out and in the end ...... finished on the top spot of the podium.
