The story of the year. We all know it. Revision Skis conned us all and left skiers around the world for dead.
Athletes have spoken out about being left in the dark and all pre order skis are still missing. Although, there was one team that never quite made it off the ground. Revision Roots.
A vision created by Tall T Dan, the team consisted of strong, well rounded and enthusiastic skiers. We got a discounted price on the already discounted pre sale with the incentive of every 5 pairs we sell, we earned a free pair. Unfortunately, as of October 2016, Dan was unexpectedly no longer in charge of the Revision Roots team. It came as a shock and Bill became our main contact for anything Revision related. When winter arrived and our skis didn't, we sat tight just like everyone else hoping that January would provide.
But it didn't.
We would like to take this opportunity, after the recent NS release, to apologize to everyone we promoted these skis to. We had no idea this would happen. Our last contact with Bill Wanrooy was on the 22nd of January. We are broke ski bums, just like you, with added guilt of having supported and promoted something that went so terribly wrong. We would like to share our stories and also promote that, as BASEDJAH mentioned, a lot of hot riders need new ski sponsors.
So here we are. The team of 'core' riders, the guys that love skiing more than anything and tend to send hard... If we had the skis to do it.

Hey NS. I grew up skiing in Australia and then moved to BC to chase my skiing dream. I was so stoked to get onto Revision Roots... Until all this shit went down. My biggest achievements in skiing was learning to ride park at the ripe age of 19 and building my way up to my first street rails this winter. Living in Revelstoke where the pow is deep and the lines are steep has also increased my skiing ten fold. I am inspired by strong female skiers like Maad Maude, Tatum Monod, Angel Collinson and The Diamond Annies crew. I am determined to promote women's skiing and was stoked to work with SLVSH on a women's video this winter. My experience with Revision was embarrassing. To everyone who purchased through me, I'm sorry. It actually sucked so much that a lot of my motivation was killed this winter. I pretty much stopped skiing in the end.. But the summer is rejuvenating me and I can't wait to get back at it! Peace xx
