
Step 1: Using a variety of sharp tools
(X-Acto knife, Box Cutter & Chisel), trim out any rough edges. BE
SURE AND UNDERCUT THE EDGES OF THE P-TEX! Scrape the base core area and
get any/all P-Tex off of it.

Step 2: Flood the gouge with epoxy making
sure that it gets into the undercut area and stands proud above the
base. Let it harden.

Step 3: Once the epoxy is totally cured, use
a Sure-Form rasp to trim off the excess, then give it a finishing
love-swipe with a sharp, flat bladed metal scraper.
The finished product won’t be pretty, but it will at least hold and
hopefully keep you from ripping your edge off.
