"One spot everyday. No more, no less."
That was Magnus Granér's golden rule while filming for his XGames Real Ski part last winter. Hunkered down in the Province of Quebec, home to some of the most famous urban locations and skiers, Magnus was on a mission to find enough locations to film at for his 90 second video submission.
It's now common knowledge that Magnus would go on to win the contest, beating out one of the strongest lineups of urban skiers imaginable - LJ Strenio, Tom Wallisch, Henrik Harlaut, Khai Krepela, and last year's champion, Will Wesson. While much debate could (and did) take place over the results, Magnus' unique style and never-seen-before tricks ultimately stood apart the most, earning him an X Games gold medal.
----
> RealSki was a direct departure from his normal urban ski antics. Skiing and filming alone vs with friends as is seen in The Bunch Movies. Results focused vs having fun.
> Focused on doing something new, creative, and different.
Filmers: Andreas Olofsson Gustav Cavallin
