One of my only midweek skiing experiences turned out to be one of the greatest skiing days ever. It was mostly park, surprisingly.

The snow was pretty average, no powder or anything. The sun was out and shining hard about 40% of the time. Today I just worked on smoothing out spins, chilling, etc.

I got a couple new tricks down today, which was nice, but the most fun part of the day was by far skiing with my Bermudian friend Curt. He was the definition of gaper. Rental gear, full head gaiter with helmet overtop...goggle gap, the works.

In any case, I just practiced riding switch, going through the beginner park once, and jibbing random stuff on trails.

Everything was average about today, except I had one of the most fun days I've ever had, even including powder days. Blasphemy, right?

I don't care what people say, you don't have to have powder or a park to have fun. When the park goes shitty, jib and ski around on the mountain. Basically, go ski.

Peace.
