Alright, so LA has finally left Mammoth. There is food on the

supermarket shelves again, parking spots on the hill again and not so

many children's bodies underneath every jump on the mountain.

It snowed a bunch over the holidays and has been trying to clear up for

us locals ever since, unless its my day off of course, then its

overcast and windy....not really but for the last few

days.....grrrr......

ok so South Park in Mammoth is fully operational, there's the upper

jump, a 40 foot step down, into the triple line, about a 28 - 34 - 25,

but super poppy. The jib line is on too. Main park has its middle

jump up and running, 91 foot to the sweet spot and the bottom jump is

about 48, super smooth and lofty, in a good way......the pipe is rad,

its shape is great and the temps are keeping it perfect........June is

on too, they need more snow, poor bastards, always in the shadows of

Mammoth but always so much better, untouched features, never worked by

the enormous traffic of Mammoth and always chiseled to perfection!!

I also did a mission to Kirkwood, which had the most epic snow, I

couldn't believe it, I could even still keep up with my bros from up

there. They had enough snow to cover the mountain, but not too much to

fill it all in, a gazillion things to dodge, jumps over, under, squeeze

between....you know what I am talking about...

Anyways, there's a quickie update, hope all new years started right and I will keep you all posted....Pip.
