okay, i dont really have any time to write but i am getting tired of being on the bottom of this here blog pile. I'm finally back in Munich after an insane weekend getting to and from the Candide Invitational in La Clusaz, France.

I got a ride from Munich to Geneva, Switzerland on Friday, but got into town too late to find a train connection to Annecy. But things just seemed to work out as they always do... I cant tell you exactly what happened because this is a PG-13 rated blog, but lets just say that I will not be forgetting Geneva anytime soon. At any rate I rented a car the next day and burned down to La Clusaz, where the Invite went off despite some bad weather. the vibe at la balme was just sick, everything really laid back and lots of green being burned everywhere. the invite came complete with a dope reggae concert too! i'd tell you more but I'm working on a story for Freeskier, so stay tuned for that next winter. however the skiers really turned the heat on and the bigger features at the invite got slayed like never before, and if i could give anyone in the world a lollipop, right now, I'd give one to Jossi Wells, because this kid is NUTS and will be making more than a splash in skiing's microcosm in the next few years.

that was that, i wish i could have put together a sick story for NS from the Candide invite, but I've at least asked my buddy Chris from regime change productions to cut us a short video, so that should be on the site shortly. however, if you're disappointed about no candide coverage, pick that chin up, because tomorrow i am enduring about 30 hours and six train changes to get myself to Are, Sweden for the Jon Olsson Invitational. and this time I'm working for NS and packing as much media equipment with as I can borrow or steal, so the coverage should be good. and I'll be doing it for Teddy, who was the best partner anyone could have during a full-on media blitz. We did the WSI two years together, teddy cutting video and me writing and taking photos, and the night after it was all over we were still up working hard to provide the best ski event coverage in the world faster than anyone else. thats always been my goal working for NS, and losing a good friend has made me realize how important my goals in skiing are to me. i'm more stoked than ever to be involved with NS and cant wait to come back next fall as the news editor. shits going to be off the hook, just you wait!
