Once, the contract closed the new owners of Killington, Phill Gross and Michael Ferri, didn't wait around. They announced a slew of new investments that will come to The Beast for the 2025/26 season. These include a superstar replacement lift, over a 1000 HKD low energy stick guns, and new cabins for the Skyeship Gondola.

The most notable of these investments is a replacement for the Superstar Express Quad. This quad has one of the longest seasons in America spinning from the Stiffel Cup in November to the final turns in the east in June. This 1987 Leinter-Poma detachable is tied for the oldest detachable in New England. So far we know that this lift will be replaced with a detachable six seater from Doppelmeyer. This lift will not have a bubble because "this lift is a relatively short ride which makes having bubbles on the lift less impactful, especially considering the added complexity of needing a storage barn for overnight storage of bubble chairs,” said Killington. This lift is surprising because it will be the only lift by doppelmeyer in the past 37 new lifts on Killington (this will make maintenance more complicated as mechanics will have to relearn what they know).

The new gondola cabins on the Skyeship Express Gondola will be a huge upgrade the Killington as these cabins are one of the primary reasons to the breakdowns As Killington wisely stated “Many of our current operational challenges with [Skyeship] can be attributed to the older cabins. The challenges are exasperated by not being able to store the cabins in a heated building causing door opening and closing mechanisms to become frozen overnight.” The new gondola cabins will be the Sigma Diamond model from Leinter Poma (this is the same one on the K-1 Gondola).

In addition, over a 1000 HKD stick guns will be added to the resort. 500 will be added in this summer, and 500 will be added before 2025/26. With the beast of the east already being known for it's snowmaking capabilties, this will furthere cement it as the leader in snow
